• Along with other programmers, used C to create and enhance software in order to convert insurance data to the company's own insurance automation software.
• Maintained and modified programming code based on agency specifications.
• Networked with other data conversion personnel to ensure the accuracy of the conversion within a specified timeframe.
• Used Visual Basic and C to write and maintain code for programs that aided in the conversion process.
• Created a DOS-based program using C that would alter a Dbase database file exported from Excel so that it would be readable under the Dbase III program.

• Assisted technical and non-technical students and faculty in using the computers in the computer lab.
• Maintained a general knowledge of all computer software used within the lab to better assist the students with course work and assignments.

• Built and upgraded a fully functional Pentium III-based personal computer, installed operating system software (Windows 98, later Windows XP), and successfully connected it to a peer-to-peer network with two additional computers so all machines could access the Internet.
• Set up and maintained a Linux box using Red Hat Linux 6.2.
• Experienced with the setup and maintenance of a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
• In a team environment, designed and created a temporary web site for a local restaurant, Bruno's Pizza. Created the design for the site and made minor changes to the HTML code.
• Worked on a project to design a shipping and picking system for a fictional manufacturing company. Designed the database using the Visio software package and helped compile the final report.
• Designed and created an Access database with forms for a fictional manufacturing firm. My role was to create the maintenance forms and co-write the final report.
